K I N S H I P is a brand new curated store in the beautiful Dorset town of Lyme Regis

We showcase original, contemporary, handmade and sustainable design, with a focus on art, artisan gift and homeware. Our aim is to support independent British makers, keep the high street interesting, and nurture the kinship between the inspirational artists, designers, makers and emerging talent found primarily in the South-West of England. New artists and makers are regularly invited to exhibit work through a varied programme of creatives, events and creative workshops which change throughout the seasons.

We've thrown art jargon out of the window and invite everyone into this inclusive space, making art accessible with no stuffy vibes.  Our makers works sit together to invoke the feelings of connection, warmth and comfort in a place that feels like home for all. We are a friendly, down to earth gallery which invites everyone to find joy in creating a sanctuary of their own.

Kinship is owned and curated by Suze, a passionate collector, gallerist and experienced retail professional, living her best life by the sea on the magnificent Jurassic coast.
